have had the amazing opportunity of being around inspirational
artists such as Aoteroroa’s (NZ) own Shona Laing who gave her time to the musicians of NZ. The “spin
off” is that she inspired EVERYONE who
heard her……It’s the “soul” of the woman
that comes through her lyrics, her musicianship and her presence. Check out her latest release

Partridge collected the RIANZ Award for the Best Country Album Of The Year “MELISSA”

Bruce
Dennis, who was unable to be present at the Awards, took out the APRA/AMCOS Award for Best Country Song Of The Year with “AIN’T
GONNA RUN” Thank you Taylor Cairns for your great performance of this song.

A professional evening of wonderful country entertainment was held on the second night of the New Zealand Gold Guitar awards. The Progress Valley Possum Pickers took centre stage delighting the crowd with their distinct foot stomping, hillbilly mountain music. This band was honoured tonight by the New Zealand Gold Guitars committee by being inducted into the Hands Of Fame. It was a great show, a real delight listening to this fun family band.
